An association for anyone
who has an interest in pottery
About Us
The Kent Potters Association was formed in 1974 and is open to all who have an interest in pottery.
Our members include students, hobbyists, amateurs, collectors, full time and part time professional potters, manufacturers, suppliers and teachers.
Our aim is to promote good craftsmanship to encourage mutual co-operation and to exchange ideas and experiences in tackling pottery problems.
Throughout the year we provide support, motivation and education via talks, workshops, studio visits, and masterday demonstrations. Members enjoy a bi-monthly newsletter giving details of future events, exhibitions, potters tips and items wanted or for sale.
“We regularly offer exhibiting opportunities to all our members – in selected galleries and ceramic events including Art in Clay at Farnham”
An association run on teamwork
The Kent Potters Association is run entirely by volunteering members who love pottery, want to support artists and anyone who has an interest in ceramics. Our events are always a team effort and everyone exhibiting or taking part come together to put on an amazing event.
