I have painted and potted all my life.   After working in advertising, I eventually changed career to join Adult Education in Bexley.  Initially I was a pottery technician and eventually progressed to teaching pottery. I am now semi-retired and play with clay and paint in my studio at home.

My recent work has been inspired by Staffordshire flat-back figures and I am creating pieces depicting Aesops Fables.  Everything is built individually and is therefore a one-off.  Underglaze colours are finished with a transparent glaze, either earthenware or stoneware.
